[S3E4] Fool's Gold
After seeing that Ben has restrained the group, the Mayor asks them to release the aliens and reveals that the town's economy revolves around the gold poop. Ben continues to search with Kevin following him.
Ben and Kevin end up in another fight with the aliens, with the Mayor -along with Gwen- showing up, letting them go free. The Mayor tells the team that no matter what damage gets done, the town can use the gold poop to fix it.
After that Ben -with Kevin following- goes to look for Decka. Because of this Gwen starts to think that Kevin is trying to avoid her. The Mayor enters his barn to check on Decka, whom we find he has kidnapped so that he'll have enough gold to pay off his debts. When Decka says he can't eat anymore, the Mayor threatens to keep him imprisoned in that cage forever, until he changes his diet to meat, thinking that it'll encourage him to eat more.
They received none of these things. But the failure of Blood Circus is a remarkable story that brings together The Wire creator David Simon, indie music star Santigold, and Mark H. Weingartner, who would later work on Inception, Dunkirk and The Hunger Games Saga.
Franco reteamed with Freaks and Geeks producer Judd Apatow, who directed this comedy hit. Once again proving that he's a comedy force to be reckoned with, Franco plays himself in interview with Katherine Heigl's wannabe TV presenter Alison. It's only a brief cameo, but its one of the funny highlights of the movie, and like Franco's Funny or Die skits, it demonstrates his winning ability to send himself up for comedy gold. Arty Franco? No, this is full-on comedy Franco. 041b061a72
